About the project

The main objective of the project is to design an implement and innovative distance VET methodology and system, based on for SME workers remote access and control to different kinds of electronic and control equipment (measurement instrumentation, PLC, numerical control machine).
This proposal is linked to other previous national project, as LA.DI.RE. and PSELDA project, coordinated by University of Sannio, financed by Italian Government. These e-learning environments have involved University students and the obtained results can be easily used to realize an European e-learning system that allows the sectorial transfer of innovation in the enterprise world.
So, the results obtained in the University world, can be easily used to realized an European e-learning system that allows the sectorial transfer of innovation in the enterprise world.
The transfer will be possible thanks to the realization of an universal web portal delivering both theoretical and pratical formative services, managed by a learning management system. With the IN.TRA.NET. environment is possible to access to didactic courses from any place and in any time of day and to acquire important and innovative informations concerning the practical use of electronic devices controlling by remote real instrumentation through an only easy web browser like Internet explorer. In this way, every person that needs to learn or to have any kind of training on a complex electronic instrument, will be able to do it from home, from the usual workplace, simply connecting to the portal, and using in a "real-time" and realistic mode, every kind of complex and expansive electronic instrumentation.

By remoting the access to such operative equipments, workers can:
A preliminary needs analysis shows it's necessary to repeat several times the same experience on actual conditions of physical phenomena. At the same time the use of electronic apparatus in the SMEs is growing and it's very important to guarantee a high competitiveness in the world market.

So, the proposed didactical methodology will be based on distance learning technologies and it will address the teaching of laboratory activities and in particular the use of electronic equipment. The distance learning environment will allow the remote managing an control of real electric and electronic equipment and other real electronic instrumentation like control devices.

The main target groups which will benefit directly from the distance learning environment and of innovation transfer are the SMEs and their self government being able to follow their own pace learning path participating more actively in the updating process.
